New investor here looking for some advice - I’ve realized that my ideal property is a home with some type of ADU so that I can rent out the main house long-term and use the ADU for short/midterm rental.

I am also just interested in general in the hostel/bed and breakfast type of real estate.

My partner and I were interested in finding a condo ideally in the Crossroads for Airbnb (there are very few Airbnbs in the Crossroads and we'd love to have a place to stay when we're in town). 

It is also my understanding that several types of loan products including the VA loan and I forget the other one will not qualify if there is any sign of crumbling with the asbestos siding so you may be limiting yourself on the selling side of things if you do not go over it with vinyl.
