@Colin Johnson, I am looking into this as a strategy as well but am data collecting and analyzing at the moment. 

Data is alot more valuable to a trade than how you charge a customer. 

@Kyle NelsonFor researching occupancy and rate info, a great site is Airdna.co the data is pretty accurate as they scrape Airbnb and Homeaway.As far as which sites to list the rental....

Admittedly, I haven't done much research on the real data of such events but I have seen the destruction these things are capable of and the potential damage to the property in a still rare but possible nightmare scenario for a landlord.

They also have researchers who can look up missing data.

Some can be found by doing a records search and then piecing together the data for limited types of evictions.

Be sure to have a data room or dropbox that has three years of financials, color photos or appraisals, leases, resume, PFS, etc.
