There should be a sticker on the tank right next to the gas valve that explains how to turn the gas valve off.There should be a sticker on the tank with the model number and date of manufacture.

We want to be able to sustain as a business model doing a few properties at the same time without too much hammer swinging. 

Make sure your CPA/attorney has experience with foreign individuals as well, especially if your business model includes selling homes, as that changes your withholding requirements at closing.
