It's not easy to get a lot of them to talk much to an outsider.....

My plan is to continue to operate the LTR, get approvals for my already initiated project one way or another from the board/or not since I've already put in a fair amount of money for turf/installation, and respectfully decline this additional potential $6k charge. 

Why have to (assume you do) talk with tenants about this? 

Great time to for multifamilies rents are high rates are dropping and values will continue to climb for 2024!

Don't just focus on talking to people that might have a house for sale right now, but instead tell everyone that you interact with what you are looking for so when they come across a property that matches your criteria they will think of you.

SF is obviously a super strong appreciation market and it will likely continue that way and bounce back (in my opinion).Best of luck to you no matter what you decide!

There is probably a number you have in your mind that will make this worth it or an amount that is needed to offset the cost of additional resources to continue to support this tenant.
