However there are a few really great people I have spoke with that I want to bring on as a caller but I fear they may take too much time to train and will not have the "thick skin" of experienced callers.

They gave me 80% of what I spent on each property (purchase price + repairs), so that I still had some "skin" in the game.

Remember, there are a hundred ways to skin a cat.

The people that do it are getting by on the skin of their teeth and if the market winds shift against you, you'll be up a creek without a paddle.

I mean Sell a house... and you can't even see the actual skin color of your tenants -it is that dirty-, we are serious about buying it...

Have 100'sK in equity locked up in your properties doesn't do anything for you and it's not liquid. 

They have more skin in the game then you do.Make sure you get clear title.

This whole process is certainly thickening my skin!  

They couldn’t attend to maintenance issues in a timely manner because they skinned their staff down to the bone to prepare for their stock market IPO.
