I have looked online but it seems kinda fuzzy and the idea seems great but my understanding is that doing a syndication requires a lot of capital to meet the proper SEC requirements.

But overall the worst I can see it being is it needs electrical and plumbing and painting..It would be my first deal so it lets me put my foot in the door so I can then take a home equity loan out of it to get into my next deal with a higher chance to negotiate the price down.Also the population density of Puerto Rico is so high that it seems unlikely I won't be able to find a tenant rather quickly, especially when a majority of the island is under affordable housing..

And, it is hard to pass the exams it seems.

He was talking about doing a 50/50 split on an upcoming flip but what he’s proposing seemed a little strange.

The ones who do invest here seem to do very well.

Obviously there could be other details that can influence the outlook on the investment, but it seems like a good one to make an offer at least.

One is to find under $300k properties in class-B areas, but it seems I can only find some crappy over 30 years houses, likely need some repairs in the next years.

Both of them seem playing the same game.

5.5% seems very short in todays market . how many points ?
