Window is currently not egress, but can certainly be replaced if needed.There is a walkout door right next to the window, so I’d imagine, that is what is necessary for an emergency.Front side of basement has another window (same size as back), and has a view to the underside of the porch.

There is too much to know about multis and flips (what’s the property worth, what rehab needs done, how much will the rehab cost, how to screen for tenants, do you know a property management company, how to successfully run the business, etc).

If it was just to view a property without being under contract, it could be conceivable that a seller wasn’t willing to go through the expense of utility hookups just for showings.
