My mother in law is a landlord and she is always trying to ward me off from going down REI, but I can't ignore some of the benefits that come from this area of investing (I like tangible things).I will likely see about joining a local networking group and hopefully finding a mentor, but I'm not really sure what I could offer them to "make the trade" for their time/knowledge, but I suppose I will find out!
