My apartments are in a good area.Having said that they are older buildings.We are rehabbing some vacants.We went door to door with a letter to all tenants explaining to call the cops if they see anything suspicious.I have a manager and maintenance guy on site but it helps to have extra eyes looking.We also offered a 250.00 cash reward for a tenant reporting a call that leads to an arrest.The key is leads to an arrest not just a call.The police have to locate the offender and take them to jail for the tenant to get credit.This makes the tenant want to catch them in the act.I figure 250.00 is as much if not more than what an intruder would steal or do in damage to a property.

I used to think I hated plumbing but then figured out its just galvanized pipe I hate.The termites are likely to be an ongoing problem that you will have to keep an eye on and treat as necessary.  

There’s no better way to learn about construction then seeing it with your own eyes and doing it with your own hands...the the do’s and don’ts and what could go terribly wrong or pleasantly right by being their hands on to experience and learn I believe is better then any book.

I currently have my eye on a vacant 5 unit apartment that I hold like to fix and rent.

In terms of SFH route - it seems much easier to find so I am definitely keeping my eyes out for both options.  

It would be great to get another set of eyes for potential deals too.

But I like Raleigh's location and to be honest, my eyes trained on that area before I even knew they were in the running. 

You can be sure that inner city business rents and rates are eye wateringly costly compared to offices established outside of the city centre and that the professional and admin staff would cost a lot more to employ.

Paying the rent late after communicating with us and including the late fee is great in our eyes.
