From my understanding it might have to be a personal loan, which is very expensive. 

Lenders are seeing near a .50 basis point improvement in multi-family and mixed use loans this week. 

DSCR loans are really not ideal for first time investors.

I'm guessing I can't be the only one...How do people find comfort in knowing the interest payments, over time, could even exceed the original value of the loan?

@Jeremy Staggers Houston has plenty :) American Title Company of Houston/Patriot Title/Capital Title ... all of them have 10+ branches  and they do all sorts of things for investors (e.g. expedite title search, loan doc prep, double close, blind HUD etc) ..PM me if when you have a contract and would be more then happy to introduce you to one of them.

Granted there is some peace of mind having a tax attorney cpa sift through our financials and dates and lay out for us various plans.
