I am still debating to get 1 or 2 units. 

Even so, I end up with a manageable list to review each day.As far as whether or not anything that comes in is a good deal, that is debatable.  

Hi BP Team,I've been debating whether it makes sense to find more 'fix-to-rent' type of deals rather than buying an outright 'fix-to-sell' or an outright 'turnkey rental' in the SFH space.

It's different for all of us and, accordingly (at least in my view) not worthy of debate in a forum that exists for the purpose of sharing knowledge and experience rather than passing judgement on perceived motivations.This is the primary reason why I chose the tagline "I would rather be judged by the quality of my contributions rather than perceptions of my motivations" in my profile.

I am not here to get into a debate about f it is morally right, but that is how it is.

The issue I’m debating how to handle now is the utility situation.

No reason to debate with the tenant, especially if they are using foul language or being disrespectful. 

Most of what I know about contemporary economic theory, if it's worth anything at all (everything in econ is so hotly debated that it's hard to know what's correct/useful, especially in areas touching on macroeconomics), I actually got from a combination of four sources: (1) wikipedia, (2) EconTalk, the best podcast ever, (3) articles from online econ publications, and (4) one of my law school professors, Thom Lambert. 

I am actually currently debating on whether I should rent out a house to a single tenant, or if I should house hack for the extra few hundred a month I could get.  

PS - For what it's worth, I am debating between getting my license and becoming an agent or getting involved with property management.
