He wants to attempt it again but I want him to understand that with his credit all jacked up the banks are not really working in his favor.The guy wants to use the owner finance as the last option and wants to rent it out now until he knows if the loan modification will go through, I think he is gambling on the wrong thing and will end up losing the house, leaving him nothing but a loss.  

He's going to have to find a way to posture himself to appeal to those voters in the context of having said a bunch of weird nonsense that will not work in a general election.He's going to have to say things like "I think we should strengthen the border fence, maybe, and provide due process for people allegedly here illegally to ensure we don't deport the wrong people" and then answer to 'undecided voters' asking "Hey dude, 2 months ago you said we were going to build a mega-wall, make Mexico pay for it, and instantly deport millions of people, and all this other extreme stuff.

Very affordable neighborhoods and your not far from the South Carolina border and the closer you get to it the cheaper things become.

Just seems like such a gamble.   

The parameters are set heavily in their favor to minimize their risk of having to pay out.So you can pay for their services and gamble that you will be that 1 in 1000 customer and come out ahead, or you can do everything on your end to limit your chances of needing their services, and keep the $$ in your own pocket

My easy border fence recipe: I just used the flat top 6 ft pickets and 4 x4 pressure treated posts at the big box store, and 2X4 rails; Dig the post holes, I set them and packed them with sharp gravel (so I can pull it up if needs be to sell or if there is a need to remove)... attach runners; cut the pickets in half and screw them on following your strong line (it is more for boundaries than security or privacy)...

The duplex is just 50 feet north of the 8 mobile homes in the center of the property, and 120 feet west of the 4 mobile homes that border Florine Lane.

Also appreciation can be a real gamble from what I've heard.But that raises the question: How does one locate properties that *do* have a shot at cashflow?
