The house was in BAD shape...We moved the deck, changed the floorpan, moved walls, new floors, bathrooms, kitchen, roof, painting, a bunch of grading work and exterior stuff, new landscaping, exterior trim work, and removed the family of dead raccoons!!

We generally use the same contractors so that probably helps a bit on the price.So that's my experience but I'm sure it varies a little across the country.Agree with Pete's post too - certainly if you're adding bathrooms or things that require additional permits, certainly that can add up.
