If so, most codes require them to be replaced. 

One garage door needs a window replaces and the tracks for the garage door openers need some work but otherwise the house is in great shape. 

We have a $20,000 emergency fund and we also replaced the roof, one of the most expensive things that can go wrong with the house.

I'm totally baffled why people are snowed into thinking they're"classic" when in the current form (pillowed 3x6) they're been trending for less than 20 years, replacing the standard 4x4s that were in for 60 years before that.

Needed paint throughout, every faucet and toilet replaced, new stainless appliances, total exterior face lift, new hotwater heater, new textured laminate flooring, crawlspace treatment, and over all attention to derrered maintenance.

I say top housing because the roof isnt what needs replacing.
