Unfortunately, my appraisal came in about 40k under what I was expecting and my appeal was just denied.

Does anyone have experience appealing an HCV rent determination from HACC (Housing Authority of Cook County)?

I'm a do it yourself and joining a syndication as a passive investor didn't appeal to me.How I Found It: I found this property on Zillow, but not on the MLS. 

I'm in the process of closing on a property in NC, and the visual inspection has turned up evidence of termite damage and previous treatment:"Termite tubes in between rear left garage slab wall and drywall bottom.

In this crazy competitive market, the investors that are winning bids are those who have more cash to put down and make their offers more appealing. 

The shift in people's ability to WFH has grown immensely and when you pair that with lower property tax compared to states like New Jersey... the appeal is huge.

We're trying to make our offers an appealing as possible however we're still getting outbid left and right.

@Ivan T. sounds like you can probably get away with leaving the existing windows, as long as your home has curb appeal and doesn’t look out of place in the neighborhood!

How do you make your properties so appealing that you have everyone flocking to them?
