I am considering doing direct mail for pre forcloudures for the porpuse of doing short sales.

From what I have learned from other investors wholesaling is that you have to be consistent with your mailing and something will give eventually.

How can I find out who the owner is so i can mail them a letter?

The family friend I mentioned in the original post actually already has a lot of experience in RE, he wholesaled about 15 houses last year using direct mail.

So after we hung up, I sent her a thank you letter with a reminder of my subject-to purchase proposal and what it could do to help her and that was it.Thoughts and Expectations.

So, when you mail a notice to a tenant, I assume that you send it certified mail with return receipt requested?
