When buying ask for copies of irs submittals

Jeff Brown just reminded me of an excellent point but it is on page 7 of an another thread. It is such an important issue I think it deserves it's own thread. Whenever you're buying a rental property (commercial or residential) make sure you ask for copies of what the seller has submitted to the IRS. It may make them very uncomfortable but you are the one spending the money.
