If you list the property, the tenant can still buy it, but you can treat them just like any other buyer - i.e. write me a contract and provide pre-approval letter and good faith deposit etc.

Lot's of fraud out there from false people.A true lender or mortgage broker in the commercial space will ask for liquidity, net worth, equity positions, global cash flow before even saying they can possibly get a commitment lender letter and only after seeing requested docs on a property.Watch out for wolfs in sheep's clothing who promise to do the world but you just have to give them that upfront money.

Soon after tenants moved into a place a year ago, the tenant contacted me saying she got a letter from so-in-so, so-in-so was asking if whoever lived in the house could forward her drivers license to her when it arrived in 3 weeks to her current address in Texas.
