On a lot of resi brokers, you get GIGO (garbage in = garbage out).Now, if you want something a bit more accurate, you can always subscribe to something like CoStar and they let anyone (I think) buy it - However, get ready to pay something pretty substantial per month. 

Did they have substantial savings that could carry them even without this temporary loss of income?  

No way they can cover without raising taxes substantially.

This is sad to see as it appears your local governing body is submitting to State influenced legislation.

Before you take on this partner, consider if this project is something this person would do if it weren’t for your influence.
