We have good reasons to always create great deals for the buyers/borrowers.The statute is one struggle, the CFPB's "clarifications" are yet another struggle, the last struggle is what is the practical strategy for an investor who has a desire to do serial seller financing's (like my company).  

We aren't really interested in trying to create a big nest egg for retirement while we scrimp and struggle with a 9-5 between now & then (honestly, we expect to eventually inherit a few million dollars of property in London years from now that will suffice for retirement).We do not own any property and never have (except my husband who owns jointly with family in London but he doesn't have any involvement in managing it while we live here).

You now have BP and a goal to get out of the rat race...it is easier with your wife and kids on board - work together towards a common goal, it will bring you together during the struggle and teach your children how to think like investors and enrich all of your lives....hope this helps,Ward 

I found the tax info pretty easily, but I am struggling to find useful data on the mortgage.

There was a lot of learning and struggles, but it was successful.
