They'll push the toilet back over the hole, but a towel round the bottom, and in 2-3 years you're replacing a floor.

Well the only polite thing to do is to bring your own towel and possibly a gift for the host.

Where would someone put their toothbrushes, cleaning products, toilet paper, towels, etc.  

Lessons learned, Maybe but he may be too soft for this business.He will be screening his own tenant, he knows better than to ever rent to any one on any form of government assistance in the future, he will now have experienced with his first LTB hearing and learn how much of a joke the system is. 

This literally just meant I went down to Wells Fargo, set up a "trust" account, which was just like any other account, but it has the "trust" labeled on the checks, etc.  

I clean bathroom fans in my own home that seem to collect dust bunnies on them after many months...perhaps this is from the towels or toilet paper?

Keep paper towels or old towel or paint tarp on the floor and on the counter to catch the yucky run off.

The fact that you let the rent go so far behind just shows how compassionate you are as a family member, and you are right, that 'soft spot,' does fall under one of the infinite reasons why not to do business with family.

It depends on your present lease agreement, tenant and condition of the property.....it may work in your favor to show it early if the current tenant has maintained it well and is agreeable to well screened serious  potential tenants viewing at a convenient time.

I never want to have the reputation of being a soft touch for having paid bribes.
