Does anyone use any remote monitoring systems that are really affordable (like a couple bucks/month) that use a cell network and not need a internet connection for tracking temperature of smaller apartment buildings?  

Just used them 2 weeks ago to install a new LiftMaster internet connect unit for our main 2-car door.  

You should be saving alot of time from being on the clock.IMO, trying to do your own OA or getting one off the internet or from some other investor is a mistake unless you are an attorney

Ok, I'm learning all kind of terminology, abbreviations and REI slang, today I was looking for some properties on the internet and found a bidding web page and in some properties it says this:"Note: This property is associated with a special servicer.

In these areas where there is a high concentration of rentals, it's very challenging to get good comps because there's so many cash sales that are well below retail.

I would personally concentrate on homes that need a little cosmetic love. 

The sites can only raise a limited amount of money at this point and they probably don't want to concentrate too much with any one borrower to eliminate risk of things not going well.  

If you needed heart surgery, would you ask someone on the internet to perform the surgery  for free and trust that they, a stranger were going to do a good job?

It's like I'm not even on the internet.
