I've done the trial for quickbooks self employed and loved it.

Hello Eric, I'm a fellow flooring installer, banks DO get leery of self employed people because of the unstable nature of their income.

I've found calling past landlords and talking to their employers to verify their employment information as the best way to really get a sense of their financial well being.

I know they have been covered, but poor screening of tenants.Check to see if they are actually employed, see if they were ever late on payments with their previous landlords, etc.COMINGLING of funds.

Not unless he has mitigating circumstances beyond his control (like job loss, or relocation by employer, etc.) 

People often make statements as matters of fact such as "wholesaling goes on Schedule C", or "wholesaling is subject to self-employment tax", or "wholesaling is not allowed in CA", and people take that are run with it as fact.

I have been employed in the oil and gas industry for the past 15 years and I'm currently stationed and writing from Angola, West Africa, and I feel like now is the right time to transition to REI.I have tried to educate myself as much as possible for the past couple of years on everything REI (fix n flip, fix n rent, wholesaling etc..)and continue doing so today.I have never done a flip before and I am hoping to network and meet someone locally that is willing to Partner/Mentor with me for my first flip.
