I enjoy many aspects of the military but periodically imagine whether or not I could make a decent living to support my family working for myself on my own terms, which is probably why I'm drawn to real estate.Neither my wife nor I have ever owned any property.

I avoid wasted time with showings where somebody must have a dishwasher and my unit doesn't have one.

I suppose too that many aspects that appear to be consumer protections will have a greater business advantage if you drill a little deeper. :)

Learning the good and bad neighborhoods and their boundaries comes from talking with local lenders and loan brokers about where they like to lend and where they avoid.

If your talking about the Northern areas of Rockville along with Gaithersburg and Germantown I would also guess this is as simple as a supply/demand aspect.  

I am only interested in this aspect of judgment investing.

What you customize should be an accent or some type of focal point that ties all the other aspects of the room together.
