Hello All,I am a Real Estate professional residing in San Diego CA.

However, I don't plan to jump into REI as a full-time profession at this time since I love my 9 to 5 working as a credit risk analyst.For now my REI plan involves being an attentive and responsive landlord and property manager, providing a rental home that I would live in myself, and keeping rent a little below market to reduce turnover.I can certainly offer to others my expertise in answering credit risk questions so I'll try to be on the lookout for those on BP as I check back here from time to time.PS - For those that don't live in San Diego, the location of my profile pic is a place called Potato Chip Rock. 

Hello everyone,I am a new RE investor in San Diego.

I'm learning so much reading the forums and listening to the podcasts.I'm new to RE investing as far as investments for cash flow but I've been buying condos and homes for my primary residence since 2002 in San Francisco.

@Steve HarmonI will inform our IRA and Solo 401k clients in San Antonio who self-direct their retirement funds into real estate in your area of this.

I'm looking to get involved with the greater Austin market (Bastrop, Kyle, Buda, San Marcos specifically) and would love to meet and get to know some of you guys involved in these markets.  

For example: •Raised private capital for various deal makers who specialize in fix and flip single family residences•Assisted in converting unique San Francisco multi-family units into tenants in common•Joint ventured and partnered with local investors to purchase multi-family units and trustee sales locally and out of state

I love these trips because I always come back with more ways to push my Austin, San Antonio and Houston businesses to the next level.  

San Francisco is out, LA is out, Santa Monica is out, Santa Barbara is out, places in Oregon, Autin, Tx is in the news contemplating restrictions on short term rentals, Ocean City, Maryland, NYC, etc etc etc.
