I’m actually in the process of getting a HELOC and would be glad to share the information with the broker I know at Huntington Bank.

The same goes for customers for those of us in other businesses.

It took a couple of weeks for them to arrive, but they are a great in-between from custom and Ikea.

If you do play that game and get caught, you generally get a cease and desist the first offense but the state could just go ahead and file 3rd degree felony charges for brokering without a license. 

I am considering inventing my/our own new real estate agency brand using a technology broker, possibly establishing a team, where we create our own brand while getting large commission splits and getting the technology support we agents desperately need.

I'd talk to a mortgage broker who can get me fixed rate, fully amortizing fannie/freddie products.Sometimes I feel the same way you do - unsure about what is the best debt/equity and amort mix with my portfolio. 

Im a stickler for the rules though for a few reasons....BP gives me a very public presence....Ive served on my boards grievance/ethics committee...and my broker is the chairman of the state real estate commission. 

I know as a salesperson I'll spend almost all my time dealing with SF deals at first; however exposure to brokers and agents, who are doing the things I want to do eventually, is what I'm seeing as the benefit.I personally want to become an investor and use commercial real estate to create passive income.
