It seems to me that without owning an apartment complex, one cannot lawfully rent to college students AND make money.  2 students cannot afford the amount it costs to rent a house.  

If you rent to students the cost of clean up/ touch up, and refurbishing after a house full of college kids can get pretty expensive in a short time.  

Day 2A bit annoying with these mortgage documents and paperwork for the underwriters.Gathered all the documents, thought I was in the clear but now they want more, having to do with my student loans.

It's probably 1.5 miles from U of A, but the tenants aren't college students, but lower income working class.

My very minimum  goal is to live for free and pay down my student loans quicker.

I just graduated from college and right now I am focusing on paying off my student loans but I want to learn as much as I can about real estate investing so that when I pay off my loans (within the next 3 years) I can take the extra cashflow I will have and use it to focus on investing.

Currently a college student but determined and motivated always looking ways to do more and get my hands dirty.
