Hey Everyone:
I'm brand new to real estate. I fell into it last year, it's taken me time to start being active and take action but I'm young. Currently a college student but determined and motivated always looking ways to do more and get my hands dirty. I also went out of my way to get licensed hopefully its a plus for me.
Personally I think BiggerPockets is awesome as far as the podcast goes its the best podcast for real estate. There's so much information on here, seems overwhelming but I am eager to take on the challenge. I am looking forward to learn and network with the community
Lets See How It Goes!
Thanks,
Pedro

Welcome. Take a good look at student housing see below.
Locate and attend 3 different local REIA club meetings great place to meet people gather resources and info. Here you will meet wholesalers who provide deals and rehabbers (cash buyers). Find them through Google and meetup.com
Two Great reads, I bought both J. Scott The Book on Flipping Houses, The Book on Estimating ReHab Costs http://www.biggerpockets.com/flippingbook
Consider checking out HUD homes for small multi's owner occupied gets first crack.
You might consider Niche or Specialized Housing like student housing. Rents can be 2-4 times more. Remember you don't have to own a property to control it.
Download BP’s newest book here some good due diligence in Chapter 10. Real Estate Rewind Starting over
Good Luck
