It will also go off randomly during the day when I am at work and my tenants have mentioned it to me.There are clearly no signs of smoke or a fire and yet it is still going off.

Most of the time it's gross & messy with various random holes in walls, broken doors, broken windows etc...It's rare, but sometimes they go totally ape s*** & do things like put concrete down the toilets or turn on a tub & then abandon the property while it's still on. 

Cutting into the plaster & lathe is messy & random pieces falling & hairline cracks appear quickly.

Do I need to just call random banks up in the applicants cities, ask for a loan officer, and ask how they pay-out brokers, or is there a much more streamlined way to do this?

I've always thought Facebook was oriented to "joining" groups and people would get irritated if you randomly plopped real estate ads. 

I wasn't sure where to start so I did several things in a short period of time - a couple crowdfunding deals through several platforms, turned a second home into a rental property with a property manager, and a development deal.Before doing any of these, I read many blog posts on here, the websites you mentioned, and probably some other random blog websites too.

However, if you can find a local GC who has the crew to do everything you need "internally" with his own people, it could be worthwhile vs. managing & hiring out painting, flooring, and random handyman items separately.

I think this is why it feels a bit safer to me than other online platforms like Zillow and Google+; it doesn't feel as random.  

I'm glad I didn't share the specifics of mine but it was almost as random.
