Most of the time it's gross & messy with various random holes in walls, broken doors, broken windows etc...It's rare, but sometimes they go totally ape s*** & do things like put concrete down the toilets or turn on a tub & then abandon the property while it's still on.

However, if you can find a local GC who has the crew to do everything you need "internally" with his own people, it could be worthwhile vs. managing & hiring out painting, flooring, and random handyman items separately.
