My suggestion is to make sure you have a good application form with a lot of pertinent questions like ss number, last 3 addresses, rent paid, landlords number, job info for last 3-5 years, any evictions, any pets, etc. etc. also any other applicants.

The only (and dirt cheap) and permanent way to get rid of bed bugs (heat and traps won't work permanently; they will come back) is this product:http://www.bedbugpowder.com/home.phpIt is made of diatomaceous earth and cuts their bodies so they bleed to death but it is like baby powder so it is safe around babies, pets, peoples and perfectly harmless!!!
