The property I'm looking at is in Kansas near a university.

How's everyone feeling considering the current national and global issues and situation with regard to real estate investing?

I picked a duplex right next to the private university, many restaurants/bars, and a large park.

Location are in Amherst near University of Buffalo South Campus. 

I currently work a J.O.B. that i enjoy where I have the choice to be paid through an Indexed Universal Life Insurance Policy or just a standard paycheck.

A quick overview of my background: I have a degree in Neuroscience from Emory University, decided writing grants all day trying to get money to fun my research wasn't for me, so I continued bartending after college and freelancing in the Atlanta film industry.

Also, with the university being such a major component of rentals, how is the market for non-students been?

The thing that I like about Columbus the most is it is a growing city with a good university.

We immediately got to work looking for properties, and I was able to find them a nice duplex close to Anderson University.
