Part of the reason might be because they would only help if you plan to hold the property long term (like over 10 years at least).

A Minut sensor might be more reliable for detecting smoke presence, keep in mind that it may not differentiate types of smoke.

Every local bank does dscr loans, 20yr term, with 3 or 5 yr rate reset, you might be able to get 25yr term but all will require personal guarantee to start and 3 yr historical financials.

@Heath Shepard I'm not familiar with the builder, however, with this being a new construction CBS build, there's little to worry about regarding hurricanes and additional protection.

I have some equity in my rentals but dont want to touch them with the interest rates being so high...If there was a lender who could lend without me needing to save up the 65k-that would be great!
