It was not until recently that I stumbled upon real estate investing.

I recently stumbled upon biggerpockets thru my landlording mentor.  

I live in a town where the 1% deals are not easy to create, and even more difficult and rare to just stumble upon, but they absolutely are out there.Some 1% deals are residences, some are parking lots, and some are a flat concrete pad with cell-towers disguised as flag poles.If you were to compare every 1% deal across a tough town you'd probably find lots of creative angles unique to each deal.   

Gradually we are expanding to other rental platforms, but a stumbling block we have is keeping our calendars straight using multiple rental sites.

I stumbled into this old post during my lunch and wanted to throw in my 2 cents. 

Our first deal as official real estate investors- this one has potential to be one of our best for a long time.After scouring the local market for a few months my brother stumbled upon a small 'For Sale' sign in the window of a Bonsai shop.

I hit the web and stumbled across biggerpockets i have been stalking the forums podcasts blogs and webinars as much as possible but hesitated to reach out. well i couldn't have found bp soon enough because i have now stumbled upon a partnership that is willing to  finance a small multi family, and put the title in my name, in exchange for 50% of future profit.needless to say i am very nervous as a couple months of reading in no way make me a qualified investment vehicle. but i am not willing to let this opportunity to enter the field of my dreams disappear. nobody in my extended social circle has any viable knowledge in real estate. so hear i am reaching out to the multitudes of knowledgable investors here on bp. i am open and grate full for any advice and criticism on any topic and would really love to find someone who understands my market.
