He did it through (1) professional website (2) constantly optimized for SEO (3) new social media articles at timely intervals (4) sponsorship of charitable events (5) ongoing public relations campaign (6) billboards (7) advertising in local newspapers (8) SEM .  

Many cities allow short-term rentals of primary residences as long as certain conditions are met, such as obtaining a business license and meeting safety requirements.

A few days ago, I said, "When I look at social media from people who are doing it well, they are always teaching."

There are many social media groups dedicated to travelers seeking furnished properties, you can list on sources like Zillow and apartments.com, Crashpad, corporatehousingbyowner, etc etc. 

None of the three will charge you and all provide a relaxed/social setting that you can ask questions from other investors and professionals. 

Networking is plays a big role into this, so connect with other investors on social media platforms and the likes. 

Maybe reaching out, posting it on social media, price adjustment etc
