They say the only ship that doesn't sail is a partnership so be cautious, especially with family. 

Besides the outdoors, I enjoy reading (I think most people on here will, at least about real estate), flying planes, sailing, and triathlons.

I plan to keep looking but the wind has definitely left the sails a little.

When the last property, we just knew would sail through inspections and didn't, is when I began to panic.  

I'm sure you will have other 'at sea' times you can read more than you could in other ventures, so - Happy Sailing!

That ship sailed and are now sold for appreciation at more than 2 million dollars. 

It sounds like this property will need some time to be turned around after which it should be decent sailing.

Just feel like it’s better to start out with a lot of money to make the boat sail smoother than starting out with barely enough.Do you feel like $30K is enough to get started House Hacking a Duplex, Triplex, or Quad, in Dearborn or Dearborn Heights?

Hey Jim,Thanks for chiming in, I have read many of your posts on other threads and always agree with  you.Yeah, already did all that you mentioned and it has been fairly calm(at the limit of normal acceptable) sailing since then, but, recently she freaked out again and that prompted this post.

But that ship has sailed.
