Spent a few weeks getting settled in to the neighborhood you are living in, (Getting your driver's license and car registered with the DMV) knowing where the grocery store is, et cetera. 

That's what I think a fair price is.It does depend on how far it is to the roofing supply store, how far it is for the workers to travel, if there's any rotting wood that needs to be replaced and how busy they are (busier = higher profit).You could buy a couple ladders, a compressor, a 100ft extension cord (14/3), 50 ft of rubber air hose, a roofing nail gun, a caulk tube a couple shingle removers and pick up some day laborers who know how to roof. 

Finally, do you know if there are any legal requirements for how landlords need to store tenants' SSNs?

Check with CPA but furniture has its own depreciation schedule (7 years I believe).Ultimately I would check with your CPA to see if it is even worthwhile, and your lender to see if it is even possible.  

Pottsville's downtown had been in declined with empty store fronts but I really think the arrow is pointed up with a couple of new restaurants opening up in the downtown.
