I might be wrong, but it seems that many in real estate failing to learn from Silicon Valley's success.

The problem of course is that they always fail to mention the fee structure that is hidden on page 157 of the 200 page insurance policy handbook that they give you that describes how the policy operates.  

Like others have posted: Each office is independent and there are very successful office and there are franchises that have failed.

So if the payment did not process until midnight but Forte pulled the payment at 6PM (they used to pull ours at 4:30 PM until we changed to to midnight for the reasons listed above) there were occasionally failed payments that the bank would have not known the reason why. 

It may be common for a home of that age to have a failed sewer lateral, but that doesn't mean you have to accept it.

That is how I got one of my rentals...and another when the buyer failed to show up at closing.

It just seems like there will be many that fail to file their report and I just can't see the government really going after tiny businesses for so much money for something that is so easy to forget to do.

I would only do Airbnb if I were an established investor that could survive if it failed.
