In the past 10 years, Ocala has greatly improved the employment base, adding tons of logistics and distribution jobs on top of the medical, service and equestrian jobs that we have always had. 

Investing is different from speculating, in that it’s data driven and therefor predictable and you have factors that play in that covers your downside and strengthen your chance of upside. 

Also, based on what I wrote, if any of you do off market buying, I would appreciate ANY advice.

Better play it safe and use a warranty deed instead.Also, later on when you sell your property, it will keep the chain of title cleaner for the next title insurance.Last but not least, a warranty deed does not cost more than a quit claim deed...

You can probably make decent returns in Akron based on gross income and purchase price.

I was kind of skeptical, but seems this city/town is good place for STRs based on your response.
