If you want to start networking with other investors and building connections I suggest joining REIN (Real Estate Investors of Nashville).

I analyze deals, read books, learn from the forums, network, visit properties on a weekly if not daily basis.I will do as suggested and ask him to show me where the real estate professional designation is necessary. 

Have not yet had a chance to network with other small business owners in my area.Thanks in advance!

Distributions are only taxable if you received money back over what your basis in the partnership is.Let me know if you attend a local real estate networking event.
