The final and most important reason to buy now is – prices have been flat for several years in our area – if you buy now, you will be in a position to ride the real estate wave back up - instead of waiting until you read "good things" in the media reports again – by then it will be too late to capture a great equity position in the near future by purchasing a home right now!

Also, you have to make a lot of tough decisions about other peoples life (taking them to court when they really in financial trouble, you have to learn distance yourself and focus on business) i think Bridgeport offers a good return on your cash especially if you finance the deal, but it's not an easy ride... good luck.

@Ryder Meehan  nothing beats putting your eyeballs on the housing stock.also want to check for flood insurance and wind  those can be much higher in that marketwind being hurricane not wind being tornado and hail like Texas.. you should not have the foundation issues you can experience in Texas either.
