I heard from a podcast that you could use it for your first property,but most of the grants I have researched says you have to pay it back when you move out. 

Can anyone provide some advice or guidance on researching the liens against the property and/or financing a foreclosed property?

Research the correct way ( I believe putting in what amounts to an escrow account) and include a letter with your June rent payment explaining that per PA code XX you’re withholding $yy this month to cover the costs of non functioning systems that were included in the house.

Hey, I did research on BRRRR and I think the best markets are Indianapolis, Detroit, Kansas city MO and some parts of FL, TN and GA. 

It's not worth it.I'm told that FHA has ways of finding these things out that are more involved than just getting your mail at the address.Ohio is not listed in this resource: http://www.ncsl.org/research/financial-services-an...But in many of the states listed, mortgage fraud is a felony.

There is no simple answer just more research on your end.

I have tried to research the concept- but for some reason find it confusing. 

There's a lot of free research you can do online and specifically on BP on those subjects.My other recommendation would be to go to as many auctions as you can.

Should be something in the regulations.Yeah I looked around but couldn't find anything, but I think I remember seeing something about it when I was doing research a few months ago.
