Before moving forward with anyone, make sure they have a license, are insured, and will pull the permit under their license.

I know there is a hospital, community college, the Chobani yogurt exec offices along with other stores. 

Have you priced out the permits and how they differ for a brand new structure (the Boxabl) versus renovating an existing structure? 

HiI pulled out a permit of conversion garage to a master bedroom but the Owner changed his mind and he told me I prefer to build a ADU unit instead of a master bedroom. actually I have to change the current permit to a ADU permission.would you please guide me what is the process of this conversion?

No utilities on that one for a good 4+ months while demo, permitting and construction took place.

The property is in a desirable area right next to Rhodes College campus.

I would err towards Waterford, Mystic, Ledyard or Pawcatuk and outside of New London- unless you get something near the colleges. 

Just curious about the entire process (fee/cost, wait time and other permits, etc). 

I saved that much because since I graduated college I have made a house payment in an investment account.
