I would also like to be able to leave an inheritance to my nieces and nephews since my wife and I do not have children.

What inspired you both to become real estate investors and what start-up advice would you give someone who's new to this? 

This post was meant to inspire, and help others to achieve greatness within themselves.

I plan to continue working a full time job and want to use real estate to cover my wife's income gap so that when we have children she can raise them at home.

Recently listened to podcast episode #202 with @MarkWalker and am newly inspired to find our dream team in Kansas City (a opposed to just settling to get a deal done!).

It also serves as an inspiration for potential "do-ers" who can learn everything they need to reduce risk before taking the big plunge.

They can almost be like children having to manage them constantly.

That is when my former husband stopped paying mortgage and HOA, however he didn't pay child support either claiming his mortgage and HOA payments were too expensive.Our marital settlement states that I will not be held liable for any liens or issues pertaining to the real property incurred either during the marriage and until the children and I vacated the home in April 2012. 

My business partner and I are thinking about how to pass along the properties in our portfolio to our children.
