My name is Kevin Go and today is the first day I will be doing my research about real estate.

Interested to hear ideas regarding how to structure a partnership correctly so it is win/win for both sides.We are young and able to act as the "boots on the ground" to handle all the day to day operations of the property, including management/tenant issues/repairs/etc but we lack the necessary capital to get into some of the deals we want.

These are great options to get you started today in having your properties produce income.

I'm currently in education mode which I hope to emerge from before summer's end and complete at least one deal by the end of the year.

Started my real estate education about two years ago after reading “Rich Dad Poor Dad” of course.

If I’m wrong I’d like to be educated if someone else has done the research. 

You can spend an awful lot of money on rei  education and still miss this important step Knowing your market. - Knowing theoretically how to evaluate a deal does no good in you don't know YOUR market well enough to apply it. 

This adds nearly $11,000 on top of the pile.As mentioned previously, if we were to put in an offer today, there is no way for us to "owner occupy" until next June.

For the past two years, I have been analyzing deals in a few markets that I am familiar with, mostly to educate myself.

My lesson for today is to dig a little deeper into advice I pull from RE books.
