People think that using Legal Zoom or other online cheap resources is best but I've seen first hand the problems that arise and the cost then far exceeds what you'd pay to speak with an attorney first.Also, you spoke about wanting to crowdfund - without knowing more of exactly what you want to do - be very very careful in that area.  

Long story short my husband is a member of an online community but for music fans, and online argument turned into one of their members "doxxing" him - basically looking for his online information outside of the message board.  

I've been reading that quickbooks is popular, although I would need to get 2 accounts if I did the online version and it's kinda pricey.  

Projections and pro formas are as rosy and promising as an online dating profile.....most aren't close to reality.

I used every possible "person locator" online and found their Georgia address but no valid phone #.

IMHO it is much better to find the employer's phone number online then call and ask for the HR Dept.  

Just last week I had an old tenant contact me online regarding a house I have listed.

Even so, BP is a huge benefit for me and our business, and I feel that it is THE online community for real estate investors right now, especially the newer folks whose alternative would be the guru courses, etc.If you're interested in my perspectives on BP, I'd be happy to tell you why I've spent hundreds of hours over the past 2 years in here helping people, most of whom will never pay me a dime...
