If you must purchase with 2 other couples, I do recommend (as did someone above) choosing one representative from each couple to be on the loan. 

@Marcus Auerbach  I feel like what you are getting at is in the year i look to refinance maybe I should not take as many business deductions so that my income better represents gross income for the year as opposed to net.  2019 is roughly the same, I am not doing any crazy tax deduction strategies but the simple business expense deductions from my buy and holds like the utilities I pay and the property insurance, management fees and such.

I had to use his closing agent and I had to have a representative from his office present for all inspections and to get the utilities turned on.

The Likelihood is you will pay a fee regardless as most credit tenants have a broker representing them.

Or is the listing agent representing HUD just being difficult?
