I suggest reading the link I provided earlier; it is from an attorney who is litigating a number of these cases, and his suggested advice is worth paying attention to.

How useful would the idea of the service be to you, and what frustrations / obstacles have you ran into in the past that you believe would need to have special attention dedicated to them in order for such a campaign to be a success?

If they do get written up, it will bring the fact that they are old to the front and center attention of your buyer and could cause you problems.

A first time buyer may be clueless, whereas a 2nd or 3rd time buyer may have had bad experiences with a/c and will likely pay more attention.

It gives the receiver influence points and it also shows to others that (when multiple votes are received, that the post was well received and readers should take notice of it.

The downgrade was just a way of garnering some attention and asserting some "information authority" on the part of S&P.
