Generally, I'd disagree with your desire to pay off your personal property first and save up an emergency fund.

Some cities in MI have this but there is always the alternative that if you do not live within X distance you need a local rep/manager or person for them to know about and be able to call.  

If you are backing up to something that isn't an eyesore or a busy street leave it be.

He is my neighbor and friend, so at least I know him well as a person.

Buyers will have a LOT less advocacy, less representation, and I will have some more paperwork saying a person knowingly tried to negotiate with a professional R.E. shark and that they own the results free of any liability on the sharks. 

I personally like to call and ask how much the lot rent is in a specific park.

Personally I am not a fan of sitting on a lot of POH homes for sale at the same time. 

You may want a separate spreadsheet for personal tracking, but that depends on what you are trying to accomplish.
