In the other the neighbor had a chain-link but was a total slob and I didn't want anyone to see his mess, so up went a privacy fence.

People really need to know everything about their business and the market and laws before they know what they're buying is a good investment.I was really hoping to keep this chain on-topic, which is for people to give turnkey due diligence ideas and thoughts.

This entire chain of events is NOT normal practice and should end up as a one time occurence in your investing career.

LOL.The locks - maybe a compromise is in order, where you can put in a good latch for the inside - like one of those hotel type metal hooks that are more solid than a chain, so she can crack open the door to talk to someone and still be safe? 

The tenants can't afford to go out to eat, so the restaurants have to give them free sit down meals? 

I've received several nuisance item complaints, such as missing window screens (that haven't been there in years) and toilet handle chain broke.
