Unless this dog is the size of bigfoot with irritable bowel syndrome, I can't imagine how 1-2 days worth of dog crap would be visible from the street enough to make your property look bad.

Contractors can and will disappear for weeks at a time, 3 week jobs can become 3 month jobs pretty easily, and I don't think you can imagine the anger you'll feel when you get lied to about your job being finished today, then tomorrow, then next week, etc.

Jennifer Lee I'd say if you can't afford to stage a house completely, so that it has enough furnishings and decor to spark the imagination of the buyer envisioning living there, then focus on staging the bathroom and kitchen simply but of a quality befitting the potential home buyer, and make sure the house is painted in a neutral colors (that doesn't mean everything has to be builder beige!)
